Enjoy Art, Dancing And More At Joe’s Movement Emporium

There’s no shortage of exciting things to do in Prince George’s County. So welcome the holiday season with fun and engaging activities at Joe’s Movement Emporium.

Try the hand dance classes by Smooth & EZ Dance Company. For the best classes in hand dance, try out their three classes. Take their safe and welcoming beginner class on Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm. Build up skills with their intermediate classes, also on Thursdays from 7:45 pm to 9:00 pm. Lastly, try their advanced classes with a free spins and turns workshop on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Classes start January 4th, 2024 and all classes are $15. Also, join Jasmina Rae for her Gentle Belly Class Workout. Rae, the instructor, is a senior who has been belly dancing for over 15 years. Through classes like these, she wants to curb the misconception that belly dance is performed by “loose women” for the titillation of men. She teaches traditional and fusion style and loves to share the beauty of the dance to help others open a portal to their inner goddess for self-expression without hesitancy due to doubt or locked-up emotions. Her in-person class will take place November 29th, 11:30 am, and her virtual class will take Place November 30th, also at 11:30 am. Prices vary depending on age.
