Spring Fever
Women's Fashion Trends From the Runway for 2017
We can't complain about the winter, it's been pretty mild, but that doesn't mean we aren't happy spring is around the corner. What are our favorite designers coming up with?
Trenches, trenches, trenches.
You know spring has returned when the trenches come out of the wardrobe. And for 2017, the trench coat gets a facelift with big buckles, slouchy fabrics and extended lengths that make the whole coat look well, big.
Khaki rules
No matter what you’re wearing, make sure you have enough khaki as this is a spring material of choice. Every designer is carrying everything khaki: pants, jackets, dresses, tops, you name it.
White shirt dresses
Both light in color and weight, the white shirt dress will get us through spring and summer comfortably and stylish.
Yellow and Pink are in
Think your skin tone can’t handle yellow? Think again. There must be 50 shades from soft nearly translucent yellow to a bright vivid yellow that causes your eyes to squint. Hard not to love pink, and again, we're talking about rockin' everything from a blush to a hot pink. Want to be fashion forward? Get yellow. Get pink.
Think Shoulders
Designers are taking us back to the 80’s Flashdance period, exposing single shoulders with cutout details in tops and dresses or wearing them simply off one shoulder. Pretty sexy. And they're also doing the big square shoulder thing. Think Grace Jones. Whether exposed or exagerrated, shoulders are making a strong statement this spring.
