PGCPS Awards College Scholarships to Young Women in High School for Making Healthy Lifestyles Choices
Working out and maintaining good health and wellness is now literally profitable for college bound young women in high school. They now can get $1,000 scholarships through a program recently unveiled by the Prince George’s County Public School system.
The program is called “The Beauty + Wellness Scholarship for Women,” and it is for high school seniors who are going on to pursue 4-year and 2-year degrees in college, vocational and technical schools. The deadline for the awards is March 31, June 30 and September 30.
In a statement, program officials said, “We are tremendously proud of the work that we are doing to help young college women all over the country to achieve true mental, physical, and emotional well-being—but we're just getting started.”
The Skin Care Ox: Beauty + Wellness Scholarship for Women program was established to provide financial support to college women who are striving to lead healthy lifestyles. For the scholarship page and application: https://www.skincareox.com/scholarship/
