Greater Prince George’s Business Roundtable Meets At MGM National Harbor

Thousands may have been at the tables at MGM National Harbor but the decision makers at the Greater Prince George’s Business Roundtable two floors above them were far more likely to gain and hold a financial edge in life.

The Roundtable met at the county’s newest destination March 8. Keynote speakers included Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, County Council Vice Chair Dannielle Glaros and Prince George's County School Board Chair Dr. Segun Eubanks. It was the first meeting opened by new 2017 board chair Steve Proctor of G.S. Proctor & Associates.

“I’m a little jealous,” Kamenetz said as he began his remarks. “You are doing incredible things here in Prince George’s.”

The Baltimore official listed the incredible things coming to his jurisdiction – including significant economic development as several national brands are coming within the next three years.

Glaros (District 3) bombarded listeners with detailed information on subjects ranging from the FBI headquarters selection to the progress of the county’s Blue Ribbon Commission.

Segun Eubanks announced the school board’s new budget and its effort to make the education arena part of the county’s appeal as a relocation destination.
