Dom Flemons is a Grammy Award winning musician from Phoenix Arizona. Dom Flemons’ interesting blend of music utilizes older, historically rooted styles while also riding the line of contemporary trends to make a fresh, contemporary style of folk. His most recent solo-album Prospect Hill mixes an eclectic blend ragtime, spirituals, Piedmont blues, and many other genres, recognized by publications like Paste Magazine and Living Blues Magazine. 

As a multi-instrumentalist, you can expect Dom Flemons to break out a multitude of instruments from banjos, guitars, drums, and more for an engaging and provocative performance. He is currently working on a new album to be released via Smithsonian Folkways that will be centered on the songs and stories of the black cowboys.
