The Prince George’s African American Museum and Cultural Center’s (PGAAMCC) Rated PG: Black Arts Festival celebrates Black women and women-identifying artists throughout the Diaspora; beauty standards, identity, multigenerational traditions, sisterhood, and breaks barriers. The festival will be a 1 day event featuring a full day of musical performances, a film screening, panel discussions, and an artist market. In addition, we will premiere 2 art exhibitions: “This Hair Deserves a March” and “Like Blood from a Stone”. Both exhibitions will be on display at PGAAMCC until January 31, 2018.
