The annual Holiday Boat Parade is a weekend of parades that begins in Alexandria, Virginia and ends at the Washington Channel in Washington DC. Note, the boats are decorated differently each year and this is a collection from various years.  At sundown, following the full day of events of the Scottish Christmas Walk parade, Alexandria's harbor lights up as more than 50 illuminated boats cruise the Potomac River. This is a seasonal favorite event and one to be sure not to miss.
