Returning to the Howard Theatre for the third time and hailed as “…by far one of those not to be missed events” by DC blogger Tara Lemieux. This roaring rampage of live music showcases 4 dynamic singers backed by an 11-piece jazz orchestra and some of the east coast’s finest musicians. Adam Levowitz, the orchestra’s music director and keyboard player, has written 20 brand new arrangements that celebrate the artists and songs from the original soundtracks of Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction & Jackie Brown including “Across 110th Street” by Bobby Womack, “Little Green Bag” by the George Baker Selection, “Son of A Preacher Man” by Dusty Springfield and of course “You Never Can Tell” by Chuck Berry, the song that Uma Thurman and John Travolta danced the twist to at Jack Rabbit Slims.
