The trombone player Corey Henry has had what many musicians would consider an ideal upbringing: raised in historic Treme near Congo Square surrounded and nurtured by some of New Orleans’s most important musicians.  With Treme Funktet, Henry (an alum of Rebirth Brass Band and Galactic) fuses that rich history with a modern, funky sensibility that offers up a musical party with every performance.
