Ever wonder what’s behind the doors that say “Staff Only” and “Do Not Enter”? Montpelier staff will conduct tours of the areas that are seldom open to the general public, including cellars, the attic, the walk-in vault, the Summer House and Carriage House. You’ll learn about the construction of the house and the changes over its 230-year history, including 20th century, historic preservation and construction.
