Ruthie Foster returns to the Kennedy Center to showcase her powerful blend of blues, gospel, country, and folk.

Ruthie Foster’s native Texas roots are manifest in her original songs, which blend a dynamic palette of blues, gospel, country, and folk. A songwriter, performer, and recording artist, Foster was named Best Female Vocalist in 2007, 2008, and 2013 from the Austin Music Awards and a 2009 and 2012 Grammy Award® nominee for Best Contemporary Blues.
