Join us for the second in our lecture series on the works of African American Architects. Historian, Susan Pearl will discuss architect, W. Sidney Pitman (1875-1958), who lived in Fairmount Heights, Prince George’s County. Son-in-Law of Booker T. Washington, Pittman was best known for his design of the Negro building at 1907 Jamestown, and the 12th Street YMCA in The District of Columbia. Light refreshments will be served. ($)
