The Bowie Police Department in Maryland hosted their first Cop for a Day this June. The event drew in citizens of Bowie, Maryland and surrounding areas with a number of activities including a police chase, a foot pursuit, K-9 officers, obstacle courses and room clearances. All proceeds go to the athletes of the Special Olympics.
