One of the most revered guitarists working the scene today, Boston’s own Johnny A. has created a 3 plus decade-spanning career built on his virtuosic playing, compositional fortitude and distinctive style.

In 1981, Kasim signed with EMI America and recorded his first self titled album. Taking a brief leave from his Utopia album duties, he formed his own band and played to audiences across the US. Through the 80’s and into the 90’s Kasim toured and recorded with Joan Jett, Patty Smyth, Hall & Oates, and Cheap Trick.
