The Domingo–Cafritz Young Artists preview the first two works in Washington National Opera’s 2019-2020 season. Together with Principal Coach Ken Weiss, they will open a window on two great composers’ final masterpieces, Verdi’s Otello and Mozart’s The Magic Flute, which range from monumental Shakespearean tragedy to mythical, magical comedy.
