Between Ourselves is an immersive art experience that explores how black people ignore the inner working of ourselves in order to assimilate to white culture. It examines the affirmation that comes from identifying with the black community while also experiencing alienation and rejection from that same community. Do you feel safe around your people? Are you lost to assimilation?
