Theatre Morgan presents Langston Hughes' Black Nativity // Directed by Dwight R.B. Cook
A Holiday treasure by Harlem Renaissance poet, novelist, playwright Langston Hughes. Dubbed "The Gospel-Song Play," Black Nativity is an African American telling of the birth of Christ. This production will present a traditional telling of the story AND an "Urban" retelling of the nativity story--relating the 'Ole' story to present-day issues. This is a Holiday treat for the entire family to enjoy.
