The MCPS Latin dance competition is an annual event where Montgomery County High Schools compete in 9 different categories in the 4 most popular Latin dances. These categories are composed of 6 couples categories which include: ChaCha, Merengue, Bachata, Salsa, Parent Student, and Jack & Jill. The other 3 categories are group performances and include: Best in Show Junior, Best in Show Senior, and Alumni. This annual event is the signature county wide event representing the Latino/Hispanic performing arts in Maryland.
