4th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration

The 4th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration begins at 4:00 p.m. with a meet and greet. This is a great opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, establish new connections, and develop new friendships. The Kwanzaa celebration follows with libations, lighting of the Kinara, the Nguzo Saba - discussion of the Seven Principles and a re-commitment to self and the community. The event ends with the community feast, the Karamu. The menu is traditional Southern cuisine however, feel free to bring a dish to add to the feast.

ENTERTAINMENT: Baba Coe and Lakita Stukes-Coe will provide African drumming and dancing; actor, playwright, poet and artistic director of By Any Means Edu-tainment, Darrick Johnson will provide Spoken Word for the evening. ($35 per person)
