The NSO performs a program of music inspired by the natural world; each evening ends with a different composer’s work for chorus and orchestra reflecting on humans’ environmental impact. Thursday concludes with Philip Glass’s soaring Itaipú, while Saturday concludes with the world premiere of Lera Auerbach’s ARCTICA.
