Performances: May 16 @7pm, May 17 @8pm

As part of the Kennedy Center’s celebration of Unexpected Italy, Gianandrea Noseda leads the NSO, the University of Maryland Concert Choir, and a stellar cast of soloists in Rossini’s popular Stabat Mater. The program also features Liszt’s Dante Symphony, an innovative masterpiece inspired by the great Italian poet’s Divine Comedy.
