Sticks+Bars Youth Marimba Ensemble is D.C.’s first-and-only African style marimba band! Composed of students in 5th–12th grade representing variouswards and schools in D.C. and the surrounding area, Sticks+Bars mission is to have students experience playing the marimba music of Zimbabwe, South Africa, and beyond!
