Alessandro Tomassetti’s “Lie to Me”

“Figuratively Speaking” is a national juried art competition. All-media artists, sculptors, and photographers are invited to create visual works that interpret the theme “Figuratively Speaking” in two different ways: by depicting human forms, faces and features in representational or abstract works (portraiture, sculpture and all subject matter including people); or works which depict a broader interpretation of the theme, such as figurative language and figures of speech. 

The theme for this show is artwork that illustrates the beauty of the human form in portraiture and
figurative artwork. Please note that nudes cannot be displayed in City Hall.
