For four years, the main fundraising event put on by the Young Professionals Council was the GOLF-A-THON, held at Ft. Belvoir Golf Club.  Since its inception, the GOLF-A-THON raised over $50,000 to benefit The First Tee of Greater Washington, DC. The funds raised were dedicated to providing college scholarships (awarded to eligible participants through an application process), supporting various program locations and classes, and golf equipment for participants.
