Bring a lawn chair and/or blanket, and enjoy a day celebrating where we live. 

Listen to the jazz music of “Higher Standards Jazz Trio” (from 1pm – 3pm) and “Lawrence Dean Quartet” (from 3pm. – 5pm.)

Free admission and parking, however food and vendor crafts, will be available for purchase.   Our Farmer’s Market will be extending their usual hours to be here for this event.

Activities for children include: face-painting, basket weaving, sewing a bean bag or marble bag, playing 19th century games, and story time. 

We will also have a visit from the Glenn Dale Volunteer Fire Department (schedule permitting).

Our 1813 historic home will be open for timed tours throughout the day, and we will have woodcarving demonstrations.
