Join us for this Public Reception and Artist Talk for exhibiting artist, Ursula Miller, creator of "Same, but Different: Boxes and Corners." Miller's exhibit will be on view from June 10 to August 3, 2019, in the Harmony Hall Art Center's Main Gallery.
Ursula Miller is a DC-based artist and graphic designer who studied painting and darkroom photography at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in New Jersey. While her background is in the slower processes of analog, hand-held media, where the object is precious, her current work explores the relationship that the ease of capture and surplus of imagery in today’s culture creates. The projects in Same, but Different explore the space between repetition and uniqueness, represented in the volume of discrete, similar things, and in particular, shared experiences experienced separately.
