The BSF/Annual School Fair is the premier event of its type in the DC Metro area. It is a forum for Washington metropolitan area families to meet with representatives from more than 70 local and national independent schools and educational programs. Each year, over 3,000 parents and prospective students receive first hand knowledge about each school's programs, community, and policies concerning admission and financial aid. As usual, the School Fair will also feature workshops on academic achievement, diversity and other educational and wellness issues.
A special workshop is an inaugural STEM Pavilion. This will include several mini-workshops on a host of STEM topics including, programming-related competitions, robotics classes, coding classes, etc. Most of the workshops will provide information on STEM-enrichment opportunities available to local youth.
