Dancing is My Voice provides forums where sexual violence survivors and those who love them can find healing through, connection to a supportive community, strength-building physical movements, creative public expression and resources  Each year we host an annual Zumbathon® Charity Event during National Hispanic Heritage Month (mid September to mid October). This event attempts to gather enough people on the National Mall in Washington, DC to break the Guinness Book of World Records for largest Zumba® class while raising awareness of sexual violence.

Cases of sexual violence have risen during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially for children who are trapped living with their perpetrators and don't have the relief that they usually get by going to school. We want them to have access to help as well as support adult survivors of sexual violence. In preparation of the event, we are collecting short videos from survivors on the theme of "Stepping Out of the Past and Into the Future" to post on our YouTube channel. If you would like to submit a video, please email contact@dancingismyvoice.com or see dancingismyvoice.com for more details.

Our beneficiary again this year is KitePride, an origanization that helps people in Tel Aviv who want to exit the sex trafficking industry, by teaching them marketable skills in a safe work environment.  Please help someone get a new chance at life by purchasing a backpack or other bagsponsoring a KitePride employee, and/or donating directly to Glowbalact, the parent organization.  Every bag is made from repurposed parachutes or sails and showcases an exterior label that tells the impact of your purchase.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you soon on the dance floor!
