Come celebrate Black History Month at the Montpelier Arts Center with a special performance that integrates both music and history.

Explore the times and history of the Black Vote in America and how music was influenced by its many challenges from the Black Codes to the 15th Amendment and today’s times. Three experts, a musician, social scientist, and historian will take you on this musical and educational journey. This event is in partnership with the Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts.
