Accompanying PASO is guitarist Dani Cortaza's quartet with vocalists Cecilia Esquivel and Elin singing bossa nova by Antonio Carlos Jobim and other Brazilian composers. Other works inspired by Brazilian popular and folk music, such as Le Boeuf sur le toit (The Ox on the Roof) by French composer Darius Milhaud and the showpiece Dansa Brasileira by Brazilian composer Camargo Guarnieri add to this exciting concert. In keeping with the show's theme of highlighting music inspired by popular and folk dances, PASO performs a work by Mexican composer Arturo Márquez. The sultry Danzón No. 6 features soprano saxophone solos by Chris Hemingway.

Chase away the winter blues! Join PASO for a warm evening of upbeat and lively Brazilian music.
