The NSO’s annual Labor Day weekend concert returns, relocated this year from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol to the REACH Plaza! Join us for a FREE performance conducted by Larry Loh with special guests NSO Artistic Advisor Ben Folds and saxophonist Charlie Young. This special concert features music from Duke Ellington, new Kennedy Center Composer-in-Residence Carlos Simon, Jessie Montgomery, and Michael Abels. The performance is FREE to attend, no tickets required. Seating is first-come, first serve.
This event is outdoors and masks are optional. Alcoholic beverages are only allowed through Kennedy Center authorized food and beverage providers and must be consumed within providers operating perimeter. Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Please note: In the event of inclement weather, this performance will be moved to the Kennedy Center Concert Hall with socially distanced seating.
