Matthew Maisano performs a variety of repertoire ranging from opera to concert works, musical theater, the American Songbook, and pop. Known for his “sonorous baritone” by Broad Street Review and his “commanding stage presence” by the Miami Herald, he has performed up and down the East Coast. He most recently joined Three Oaks Opera as Melchior in Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors under the direction of Opera Philadelphia’s Liz Braden. Maisano has also recently appeared as his drag persona, Balena Canto in A Light in the Dark: A Holiday Cabaret of classical and popular music at the historic Glen Foerd Mansion.
