In this devised dance theater piece, Un Espectro Real brings the power of physicality to the stage in joyous communal celebration. The ensemble activates space through physical tasks, building a world of shared language to demonstrate the need for raucous exaltation, in tandem with moments of tender comforts and quiet joys. Through transitions, overlaps, nonlinearity and other design elements, this physical theater work constructs and reveals the spectrum of shared community experience. This is a time to exhale!
