Through black vernacular dance and reimagined visuals of historical album covers, this performance art exhibition celebrates the reggae sounds of Gregory Isaacs and culture of the lovers rock era of the 70’s and 80’s. The cast of Prayers for a Hopeless Romantic: Lovers Rock takes the audience/participants on an interactive journey of movement prayers of courtship, heartbreak and back to love as the ‘Hopeless Romantic.’
