David “Oggi” Ogburn

Over the last 50 years, professional photographer David “Oggi” Ogburn has captured many luminaries in music, politics, and history. Curated by Ray Llanos, the array of images that make up this exhibit, span Oggi’s career working in these various contexts. In addition to being able to view the photographic prints of icons, you will also have a firsthand look at the tools and credentials he used that created access to these moments. His images depict the true essence of his subjects and often reveal an intimate side, not exposed before. Oggi’s approach to his work involves a pursuit of excellence that emits his energy and joy through his camera. 

And when asked what his secret to success has been for so many years, he often replies it’s simply “Employment of Enjoyment.”
