Nigerian vocalist Lamii combines popular Yoruba Afrobeats elements with a variety of globally relevant sounds for a musical experience that keeps listeners on their toes. A consistent stream of high quality releases, such as 2019 LP “Signs and Wonders”, has taken Lamii from cross–college tours as a US student artist to catching the attention of global superstar Davido. His 2021 single “Jomijo”, an energetic Afrobeats-Amapiano fusion, racked up hundreds of thousands of streams. This progression has culminated in Lamii opening multiple times across Davido’s UK tour in 2022.
