Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, tenor Benjamin Burney has performed nationally and internationally from the Caribbean Islands to Estonia. He made his Kennedy Center debut performing in the opera Iphigenia by Wayne Shorter and Esperanza Spalding. He has impressed many with his tenor voice by performing in Madame Butterfly, The Enchanted Forest, as well as with Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company’s Merrie England. Mr. Burney studied abroad in Milan, Italy while singing and performing in various professional concertos.
