#IMOMSOHARD began as a web series by friends and moms Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley after a candid, wine-fueled night about motherhood. With a camera, two husbands, a babysitter, and mimosas, they turned fears into comedy—Jen even forgot her newborn’s name during the first shoot. The viral video grew a 2 million–strong following.

They released weekly videos on raw mom topics—from hemorrhoids and nipple hair to sex after marriage, mom bods, wedding dresses, and swimsuits—showing imperfect parenting. In five years their videos hit nearly 300 million views and drew Warner Bros. TV interest.

They sold out two national tours, wrote a New York Times bestseller, landed Fortune 100 brand deals, taped an Amazon Prime standup special, and launched a weekly podcast and a HarperCollins children’s book series. They live in Los Angeles and still help out at PTA events and school drop-off.
