AFROFUTURA is a series of short, feature-length films, documentaries, and animations that focus on unique narratives in science fiction, Afrofuturism, fantasy, speculative fiction, culture, and music. The series emphasizes the Black Diaspora and BIPOC communities, and other underrepresented communities and voices. The series of creative "loops" around time, space, and experience will also include animated and motion graphics shorts, music videos, fashion films, and more. Each will be followed by a special community talk back with the audience moderated by Tewodross M. Williams and with invited special guest filmmakers, animators, producers, artists, and scholars.
