The NSO presents the compact, complex final sinfonia by George Walker, a D.C. native and the first Black composer to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music. Gianandrea Noseda bookends the program with two glorious Beethoven symphonies: the buoyant, humorous Eighth and the relentlessly rhythmic Seventh.
