Fall in love as Joseph Young conducts Prokofiev’s iconic ballet score to Shakespeare’s tale of star-cross’d romance. Award-winning pianist Michelle Cann joins the program to perform the long-lost Piano Concerto by pioneering African American composer Florence Price—a jazzy, soulful masterwork Cann has championed since its remarkable rediscovery.
