  • Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum 1901 Fort Place Southeast Washington, DC, 20020 United States (map)

Join ACM on for a day-long celebration as we gather with family, friends, and neighbors to honor the present and reflect on shared tradition and history.

The Juneteenth Main Stage curated together with PorchFest DC- Southeast Edition, and hosted by BeMo Brown will feature music by some of D.C's top local artists including Fly Zyah, Dev Duff, Too Much Talent Band, and The Experience Band.

Additional activities throughout the day include East of the River Trivia, Art with the National Portrait Gallery, a Double Dutch contest, and Urban Gardening workshop.

Be sure to visit the gallery for our latest exhibition To Live and Breathe: Women and Environmental Justice in Washington, D.C. which explores how local women of color draw on a long history of activism and advance environmental justice efforts not only in D.C. but across the country and beyond.
