This summer tradition began in 2013 as a single-day event bringing community residents and visitors together to enjoy the creations on display by local artists and craftspeople. Musical entertainment was provided by some of the area’s favorite bands. Over the years, Fairwood residents became collaborators, thereby ensuring that the desires of the community remained central to planning the festival.

We invite you to this year’s Fairwood Music Festival featuring Bowie State University Chorale, The Prince George’s County Choral Society, The 8 Ohms Band, Marcus Johnson, and the band Black History.
