Brentwood Arts Exchange’s newest main gallery exhibition, Beyond Networks: Work by New Image Artists, seeks to create a conversation about meaning and personal expression in a complex, wired and networked world.

The exhibit highlights work by New Image Artists, emphasizing how the processes involved in creating textile art mirror the “encoding of meaning” as seen in the invention and development of digital social networks. New Image Artists is a group of professional fiber and mix media artists including B.J. Adams, Mary Beth Bellah, Linda Colsh, Joan Dreyer, Candace Edgerely, Catherine Kleeman, Verena Levine, Dominie Nash, Ginny Smith, Andrea V. Uravitch, and Saaraliisa Ylitalo.
