Working in both 2D and 3D, Brian Michael Dunn creates work that is informed by translating everyday objects and experiences into new visual languages. These translations form within interwoven patterns and geometric forms in acrylic paintings while, simultaneously, Mr. Dunn works with metal where the intimate and ephemeral is juxtaposed with the industrial hardness of painted steel. These seemingly disparate but complimentary series will be shown together for
the first time in this intriguing and interconnected exhibition.
