Fairwood Community Park Summer Performance Series & Music Festival: N2N Band and The Walker Redds Project

  • Fairwood Park 12390 Fairwood Parkway Bowie, MD, 20720 United States (map)

N2N is a dynamic, seven-member band performing old and new school R&B, soul, Motown classics and pop music for over 15 years. They have performed at presidential inaugurations, festivals, fairs, concert series, and opened for several national recording artists such as BeBe Winans and The Delfonics.

The Walker Redds Project is a versatile group whose music blends old and new school R&B, funk, jazz, gospel, old school go-go, and neo-soul. Their unique sound, often described as ‘pocket jazz’, delights audiences throughout the DMV and beyond.

The Arts & Cultural Heritage Division of the Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County is proud to announce the return of the Fairwood Community Park Summer Performance Series and Music Festival for 2024. This summer tradition, established over a decade ago as the Fairwood Arts Festival, is now an annual series and has grown into one of the most anticipated performing arts events in Prince George’s County.

This year’s performances – with R&B, soul, jazz, funk music, and Shakespeare – will be a revival of the celebration of culture and community. We will feature outstanding performances from musicians, actors, and groups from Prince George’s County and beyond. Performances are FREE and suitable for all ages!
