Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Edlavitch DCJCC
This year, join us to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on his birthday, January 15, with an evening of volunteering. We’ll be making dry food jars, warm winter packs, trail mix bags, and creating Valentines Day cards for neighbors experiencing homelessness and living in transitional housing.

Community Edition, 6:00-8:00 PM
We will support folks around the DC area who are experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and other challenges. This program is open to volunteers of all ages.

Young Professionals Edition, 6:00-7:30 PM
This special edition of our evening of volunteering is for young professionals ages 21-45. Following the projects, join us for optional socializing at a nearby bar.

Teens Edition, 6:00-8:00 PM
Teens ages 11-18 will assemble hospital care kits for patients at the GW Cancer Center. This project is eligible for 2 SSL hours.
