Geese discarded usual rock rules. After their 2021 debut Projector and 2023’s cowboy-tinged 3D Country, Getting Killed reshapes rock’s structure. Recorded quickly with producer Kenneth Blume, the band delivered a sharp, fresh sound with confident, wry energy. The album topped many 2025 year-end lists, including TIME, The New Yorker and The New York Times. In 2026 they followed with a chaotic SNL debut, an intimate Tiny Desk set and a BRIT Award for International Group of the Year.
