Please joing PSW as we welcome the fantastic band Danger Bird (A Tribute to Neil Young) back to our stage as we celebrate the fourth of July holiday. The band will play multiple sets between 6pm and 8:30pm then take a break so everyone can enjoy The Whraf fire works display. The band will play again after the fireworks. This is a FREE show! Danger Bird is the Mid-Atlantic’s premier Neil Young tribute band. Launched in 2016, Danger Bird has been packing venues and thrilling audiences ever since their very first performance. Comprising five seasoned veterans of the DMV (DC, MD, VA) live music scene, their experience and professionalism ensure consistently excellent and entertaining shows. Drawing from Neil’s acoustic days in the Toronto folk scene, through the golden sound of the Buffalo Springfield in L.A., the proto-grunge of Crazy Horse, the shimmering vocals of CSNY, the country roots of The Stray Gators and The International Harvesters, all the way to the raw energy of The Promise of the Real, Danger Bird digs deep into the catalog of one of the greatest songwriters ever. They take their audience on a “Journey Through the Past”, spinning the story of Neil Young and his music. Their vocal harmonies and faithful arrangements will have you believing you are hearing the great man himself.

See the museum transformed into a vintage speak-easy as you sip on retro cocktails and learn about the effects of Prohibition on the field of aviation. Popular hobbies like card games and photography will be on offer to enjoy as you channel your inner Great Gatsby.
1920's costumes are encouraged.

Warm up and get cheery at home with some mood brightening crafts and beverages. In this virtual program, participants will hand-quill a valentine for someone special, learn to make a vibrant herb infused sangria or fruit punch, and unwind with botanical prints coloring pages. Great stay-at-home date night idea! Hands-on activities and recipes will be provided in kit form, and must be picked up prior to the start of the class. Must have a laptop or desktop with the capabilities to use Microsoft Teams with video camera and microphone to engage. All instructions will be emailed to participants after registration. You will receive a detailed email with all information you will need for this activity.
