The Capital Comedy Festival is an uproarious showcase of comedic talent, featuring a diverse lineup of stand-up comedians. Held annually in the heart of the capital city, this festival promises an evening filled with laughter, wit, and sharp humor. From seasoned veterans to emerging talents, the show caters to a broad audience with its dynamic range of comedic styles.

Don’t miss a joyful evening of Latin stand-up! Comedians Fabrizio Copano, Carmen Lynch, and Jesus Trejo are bringing the laughs to the Club at Studio K. All three comics will perform their sets in English at the 7:30 p.m. show, and then in Spanish at the 9:30 p.m. show!

Fillmore Silver Spring & Third Eye Comics are proud to bring you our first inaugural Masque Off party.  This party is meant to celebrate all things comic book, games, movies, tvs and all related popular platforms. We will have music, vendors, drinks and much more.  Come dressed up as your favorite pop culture character and shake off those comic con blues.

Mild-mannered Columbia will don tights and a cape this summer, when Galactic Con returns to the DoubleTree Hotel in Columbia on Sunday, July 22nd. While San Diego hosts their huge Comic Con International, the Columbia Comic Con will give families and fans a chance to experience a local con the same weekend. Galactic Con will have vendors specializing in comics, anime, toys, books and pop culture. Dozens of artists and creators from Maryland, Philly, Delaware, and the surrounding areas, will be present to display their work and offer commissions. The talented Anthony Spay will be featured and have an exclusive print for sale. Many more local artists can be found in Artists Alley. Columbia Comic Con will have a costume contest, so come dressed to win some amazing prizes. Special costumed guests will also be present. The local chapter of the 501st, a volunteer group that portrays the Dark Side of the Star Wars Universe, along with the Rebel Alliance to help balance the Force. The Finest, a G.I. Joe cosplay group, will also be stationed there, so be sure to bring you camera. All pictures with our costumed guests are absolutely free!
